I noticed something about garapon.

IN CBEN i noticed something about garapon.

I tryed a garapon (for example garapon 4) with 5 rolls and got the next results:

First try:

1. Upgrade materials.
2. Upgrade materials.
3. Normal weapon.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Normal weapon.

Second try:

1. Normal weapon.
2. Upgrade materials.
3. Normal weapon.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Normal weapon.


Third try:

1. Upgrade materials.
2. Upgrade materials.
3. Normal weapon.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Upgrade materials.

Fourth try:

1. Normal weapon.
2. Upgrade materials.
3. Normal weapon.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Upgrade materials.

No silver robot or gold. I decided to choose another garapon by going to the garapon selection screen (instead of press the x1 or x5).

I choose the same garapon (garapon 4) and got these results:

First try:

1. Gold robot.
2. Silver robot.
3. Normal weapon.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Silver robot.

Second try:

1. Gold robot.
2. Normal weapon.
3. Gold robot.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Silver robot.

Third try:

1. Gold robot.
2. Silver robot.
3. Silver robot.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Silver robot.


Fourth try:

1. Gold robot.
2. Silver robot.
3. Upgrade materials.
4. Upgrade materials.
5. Silver robot.


So im guessing that re-choose garapon change the rates of what you get instead of try again in the selected garapon (x1 or x5)?.

Choosing x1 or x5 will not change your results. Garapon is most likely based on a random number generator. Each color ball has a certain percentage of occurring. As for choosing the different Garapon, it probably have more gold/silver balls than the 1st one you tried.

Thats the point, in both cases i choose the same garapon (garapon 4) and noticed that the number of times don't change the result, but re-choose the same garapon from the list seem to change the rates.

As once you click "Roll"
The server deducts the RT/UC from your profile,
Generates a random list based upon whatever method they use,
And plays a little animation before that said list is revealed to you.

feelin i ever sees about garapon roll percentage chance after 500 roll in cbjpwiki... but i cant find it anymoer... should i take note of that...

anyway... if im not wrong wrote on that gold ball about only 5% chance... silver is bigger 10%... rest you know it... biggest portion for blueballs more than 50%

i got 5 gold ball of UC gara, all is 1 Rt reward but after that i got only junk and shit.

There was a little battery charged animeting right?

There was 2 of it... The "Car Driving" and "Superman Icon".

If The "Car Driving" = Less chance to get silver or gold "PokeBalls"!

If The "Superman Icon" = High chance to get silver and gold "Pokeballs"!

There's also a "Running" = No chance for Silver or Gold, lowered chance for Bronze

Wrong

there is the animation of the guy runnin on foot dodging incoming lightning bolts

also, the chances are not true in CBJP. as i got only once the guy running, and got 3 RT out of 5 rolls
all other tries i got the superbot, and i got two weapon pokeball, and then lots of tunes...

in CBEN i thought like what you said, but from experience, it's not that true

Duh, Really? But when I played garapon wherever in CBJP aor EN. I've usually get that "Superman Icon(the bot running passing a train)" than a Driving Car.

And When I get it(SupIco) I usually gets the silver and gold much.
When I roll back, i get the DriCar animation i get less.

Then I tried it again and again. It was the same, no matter on JP or EN.
(Well, yeah! That was my experience. I don't know what about others tough, including u Izzy.)

EN one is no base, because it was set to high. i only got super anim on EN, and i got all sorts of stuff, and if i tried the same garapon, i would get always the same things. proof is the 32 Winbell ellen i got in a row, wich was bronze, i think

but then again, my "luck" is something weird, as it always work for the odds.
if 100 pplz play a game where you should guess the number, and i am one of the players, either i am the only winner, or everyone else guess it right but me.

back on topic. lets say the animations....
running = normal garapon
car = 5% better prize
super = 10% better prize

again, if the normal is 80%, super would be 90%, but i would be luck enough to fall into the 10%

Yeah, the odds you get Gold in CBJP is low. So far I've only gotten a fold rifle, but I've yet to roll again. I'm saving up for Hatigarm, though I'm really itchin' to roll an Rt machine... but feel it's gonna leave me face down on my desk in defeat.


If you wanted to understand how it works... assume that it is both percentage and ratio based.

Gold : Silver : R/G : Bronze

5% : 15% : 30% : 50%

Gold : Silver : B/W : R/G : Bronze

5% : 15% : 20% : 25% : 35%

Now, these are my guesses, but generally speaking, how it does seem to land. If you play around with UC garapon, you may notice that you're more likely to land Rt or ticket instead of Helingal, when you finally do land gold. You have 1 in 3 odds of getting Helingal in 5% odds of rolling gold. Draw a pie chart where gold is 5% of the board, divide it into three sections, and then put a spinner and the center and see how often you land the prizes, as that's essentially how it is most likely working... as far as logic of it.

It would be entirely too cool if it auto-placed the 3D balls in the machine, so how they get placed from the start effects how it rolls, based on physics, giving each ball a different weight based on the prize. I highly doubt they took the time to have it work that way.

Nonono... I've only rolled once on the CBJP garapon. I'm talking about CBEN...I got maybe a grand total of ten bots through the entire sum of the open betas.

I don't know what possessed me to waste my hard earned Rt on a Mega Garapon Roll in CBJP, but I swear never again.

I am so lucky...

As far as one is concerned,
The little animation you recieve before getting the garapon prizes doesn't effect the outcome of them,
Unless one is willingly enough to check the server status,
And get furher information upon this subject.

Which would be illegal to some degree.

Were garapon rates on CBEN higher than in CBJP?.

In CBEN it seem it was quite...easy to get a gold robot.

But i heard that in CBJP the rates are lower.

They haven't determined rates for Garapon yet, be patient, Also in the 1st and 2nd OBTs things were far easier to get than they will be in FOBT and Live, they should be about par with JP rates of rewards. . .

There's also the special events that can be held weekly(?) by the GM's during FOB
