Long story short: we had an alert because they found a bomb in the harbor nearby. Was the first time in my life that I actually was in the effective radius while a bomb got disarmed. You hear this a lot in the news, but it was always far away like in a different federal state.

I later talked to the lady in the bakery and she said it wasn't much, but personally I got really scared. I remember the stories of my grandparents and other people. The air pressure alone could kill people by making their lounges burst. I imagine this to be a horrible death.

I think I understand the paranoia that a lot of survivors had a little bit better now. Life is such a frail construct.

As a Security Officer, this is actually pretty routine for someone like me. Rofl.

I know it's unlikely that something is happening. I don't think I've ever heard something happening when they disarmed it, but if something would have happened I probably would have had to move or live with broken windows for a while or such. I fail to see the fun in that.

How many bombs do you have in singapore anyway? Aren't they supposed to have been removed after the war?

I saw a dog yelping after seeing a cat walking slowly towards it.

Yelping as in...somehow afraid. It didn't try to attack the cat, just running and trying to get out of the cat's sight.

The cat didn't budge. Just had its fur spiking, and continued its walk like nothing happened.

School timetable shows that we only have 2 hours school. Later we find out that we have 5 more hours afterwards. Didn't bring any food as I planned to just eat a nice lunch at home. = =;
