It's tec based. The range is really short after it ran out of ammo though, i don't think melee build is a good idea.

I think you'll still get the takeoff penalties. Though you'd be hard pressed to go negative fly on him. AFAIK pure great tech gammas puts him at 10~ fly, so even using htech beta spam won't kill it off. You'd have to use Great Run Alpha (also a godd build, 40/40 boostrun flapjack) spam to get close probably

what about Flap AM + Flap Am2? just to do more damage? o:
it wont get the cooldown penalty the dual Beamcannon AM had.

^ cooldown is universal when you alpha strike; if you were talking about using single weapons then alternating them while in jet mode, why would you even bother using flap in the first place -- it's a so-so bot outside the usual MB alpha and retarded unlimited max fly in a single click without even needing to tune

Because Flapjack's core capacity after getting all capacity upgrades gives him a whopping 805 capacity compared to other cores like, Shaden Bd with 765 free capacity and Crescent Saint who has 755 free capacity.
The loss of a booster is mitigated by lgs that provide boosters, and if he needs more slots, you can give him free slotted AMJ parts.
