Gona build a new rig should i go intel or amd.
Both socket am3+ and lga 1155 were released in 2011 so no telling when which would go outa date amd has cheaper cpus but intels are more powerful,How ever when you go top of the line amd vs intels upper mid cpus amd are cheaper so I am unsure of were to go. Also there is no telling when a computer will need more than a mid range quad core,Most reasons for upgradeing a rig of a outdate socket is really down to pci 3.0,Sata 3 to get the most outa ssds,and usb 3.0 oh look good things come in 3s 0-o.No really is it even possible to fully tax a generation one i7.
