Dark Xmas C.S. 1xNa7

C.S. is all grown up, though no less of a prankster - in fact she's arguably gotten worse.

Specifications:

Abilities:

Tips and tricks for playing Dark Xmas C.S.:

-While you can rapid-fire Present Shoot, the weapon has to reacquire the lock-on after each shot. It's recommended you wait for the lock-on so you'll have a better chance of hitting the enemy. This works especially well on AIRs.
-Spamming Present Shoot on destructible terrain is a good way to charge your WB Gauge, for lack of any better handheld methods.
-Use your own handheld debuff weapons in combination with Present Shoot to really ruin an enemy's day.
-CS Explosion is the only attack you can use in your "last stand" phase, so make it count. Always aim for the largest group of enemies you can find.
-Your main source of offense is going to be the Present Box Unit. Make sure you charge your WB gauge as fast as you can and whenever you can.
-If your team seems competent enough, let them do their thing while you hoard Wonder Drugs; don't be afraid to ask your teammates for some either. You can achieve a maximum of five consecutive summons by doing this which, if played right, will tear a gaping hole in the enemy team's BP.
-Present Box Units can be summoned in mid-air; they and the boss that pops out of them will hover in place.
-If you go into your "last stand" phase while a summon is out, the summon will despawn.
-After you summon a boss, stick with it as long as you can while avoiding the enemy's attacks to lure them in. Unless they kill you, this will result in them taking the full force of the summon's wrath. As soon as its attack triggers, run unless you have a Wonder Drug to spawn another boss right after the previous one.
-Demonfox Haku takes a while to set off his nuke, so unless you or your allies are pinning the enemy down, they will probably run (unless they're stupid enough to attack an invincible enemy). Try summoning it in places where people like to gather up, like Power Spots.
-Berzelius, unlike the other summons, can be destroyed, so you might want to put some effort into its HP count.
-Fractulus will fire opposite of where you are, so if you want to hit a gaggle of enemies, just sit between Frac and them and it'll more often than not blast them all successfully. Make sure you take its poor range into account though.
-Gigandrof fires a lot of missiles, but they're easy to avoid by ground-based robots. Tears through AIRs plenty well though.

Tips and tricks for combating Dark Xmas C.S.:

-C.S. doesn't have many answers for defense outside of Present Shoot and her two handheld weapon slots, so unless the weapon she has is specifically meant to counter you (like Geso Whip/Shock Bazooka vs Melee), anything should be fine for dispatching her.
-If you see her HP suddenly jump up from depleted to full, run, because she's going to self-destruct. That gravity well makes it nigh-impossible to avoid the CS Explosion if you aren't already getting the hell out of there.
-If she summons a boss that isn't Fractulus, again, run. You can't hurt them (other than Berz, but he'll still get off a ram or two before dying), and any attempts to do so will undoubtedly make you suffer heavy damage. Don't try to attack C.S. either, as a smart one will gravitate towards her summon to guarantee that it hits you.
-If she does summon Fractulus, then this is your chance to attack her; she'll probably be aiming it rather than trying to get away, leaving herself open to your attacks.

Other notes:

-Dark Xmas C.S. comes with the Dark Santa Cap as a HD Accessory. It gives +5 HP and +1 WLK, and has one tune slot.
-She may or may not have other Present Box Unit summons for rooms with 15 enemies or rooms with 30 enemies. The player counts are low today, so I can't test this at the moment. I may ask CyberStep about this directly.

Completely neglected to mention that CS Explosion inflicts Bullet Jam.

And more importantly, that her presents cause Extend Jamming.

She's Rotten Lemures Girl more or less.

Video for the bits:

Gigandroff inflicts some sort of debuff (shell drain?) with a really long duration (especially if you extend it).

This is x2 eiw and str/tec balanced at...13 I believe it was.

There are many things that can be fixed. You seem like the type who likes to learn on your own, though, so rather than walk you through it I'll just give you one piece of the puzzle.

Go for slot efficiency or cost efficiency. Neglecting both is just means to waste your bot's potential for no reason. Don't use 3 slots and 25 cost to do what only takes 2 slots and 20 cost.

Why in the world would you wield both a Geso Whip AND a Shock Bazooka? Why no Acid Laser? Why no Squidol Bazooka?

Wielding multiple separate status attacks tends to mean you have to use them exclusionary to each other because status debuffs do not stack. Especially since you're inflicting Extend Jammer, you want status to stick around longer, so exchanging the status is potentially ruining most of the reason why you have it to begin with. It's not an invalid strategy in the long run, but it's basically just a different approach.

Wielding both a Shock Bazooka and a Geso Whip helps accomodate the issues with both nicely while avoiding that kind of status juggling. Geso Whip is hard to get the initial hit in on someone who isn't already shocked, while Shock Bazooka takes ammo and has relatively low hitting power.

So using them in conjunction with Extend Jammer, and you have the bazooka to initiate the status on a target (as well as catch those who get out of range), and the whip to add more damage and persist the status without consuming more ammo. Extend Jammer helps with the openings of both and in general amplifying the amount of shocking you do.

Also worth noting that geso's shock lasts longer, meaning it'll extend for longer.

Burning goes to the same debuff slot as the Extended Jam.

Actually, I think I'm noticing that happen with Shock too. I smell a bug...

Okay, it makes me feel a little better about my weapon choices if they'll compliment each other. That's what I was hoping for. My only issue is that the combo takes up 140 Cost, so if I'm going to fit any decent tunes, I'm forced to overdose on Capa tunes (I'm open to being proven wrong here).

...So. After thinking about the Wonder Bit abilities a little, I had a slight epiphany: keeping STR/TEC even is pointless for Dark Xmas C.S. since most of her summons are already invincible: the only exception is Berz who 1) is already durable enough even without Tough Wonder Bit, and 2) is the only one that uses the STR stat for damage (this second part is purely based on the ramming = STR theory, he may well use TEC like the rest due to the Wonder Bit mechanics for all I know).

This in mind, I tweaked the build for TEC, though at the same time tried to keep STR where it was... I'm don't really know why. There's definitely room for improvement I'm sure, but I think I'm getting closer:
Spoiler:

The reason I'm prioritizing WLK is both for mobility and to buff Sway. I have no problem avoiding projectiles thanks to C.S.'s size, but I need the invuln frames to deal with the melee that gets through my Shocking.

Afaik Sway travels the same distance, no matter how much WLK the user has scratch

And no: Shock is extended properly (I have to admit it's been a few updates since I played my Rotten Lemures), Burning is overwritten by Extended Jam and vice versa. This is also the reason Nicole Malice wants you to gtfo. Extended Jam Works with Slow Turn though, so maybe it actually extends the duration of Melt! as well Question

Looking at her in the Calc she doesn't seem to be that Standalone-type of SUP. I'd tune her like the old CS.

Sounds more like a lie to me, I've been told that my C.S.' self-destruct at base stats does something like 45. It'd be nice if the exploder could actually see the damage count...

Spoiler:

Geso Whip is ok, but it's completely useless against any sort of Ivis (which are rampant nowdays with Clearance to boot), airs, arts, and most supports. I feel like Geso Whip is toto expensive to fill a role that CS can already do adequately with Shock Baz alone.

You can drop the H.Capa if you drop Accel Roll + an Eagle to a Boost.

I'd really say that CS is a more traditional backlining support, who focus's on giving everyone extend debuff, and she's flimsy to boot. I'd really try and keep her cost on the lower side, as she'll rarely be outdamaging her cost I'd say.

second would be better if you can't ex tune (if you're still too busy trying to ex tune your perse because suguri has all the generics currently in circulation)
but even if you can ex tune, I don't know if the first one would be better. Who knows. I sure don't. I don't have her.

Sadface.

However I'm sure she'd be outdamaging her cost like that, so screw cost, general rule of 2012 moes is 600 HP / max mobility / 40 TEC and nothing else matters.
