CosmiCalc - web-based build manager

In short - it's a web application which allows you to plan your bot builds.

All parts, all tunes, all cartridges.
Calculates weapon damage based on TEC/STR.
Text import/export of bots.

Core version 3.4, database - I don't care. Everything should be there, and if something if not, please contribute.



Requirements: any modern browser for online version, anything but chrome and IE for offline version.

Q: How do I install it?
A: You don't. Click on the link above. Cosmicalc will load in your browser. If you want to use it in offline, get the offline version and load index.html from the archive.

Q: It won't load.
A: Get the offline version. I will move CC to a proper hosting if someone's willing to pay for it.

A: Post the error in this thread. Like this: "There's an error in %somepart%. %somestat% should be 2 instead of 1"

Q: When would you add %something% in cosmicalc?
A: Wait a couple of days after this %something% is released in CBEN. If it's a robot, you better send me the data I need to add it.

Additional info: sword is str-based and could be tuned with all subweapon tunes

It's a bit misleading. You have to click the actual rectangle, not the arrow next to it. The arrow fills in that core's default parts.

It's a good program, although not perfect. The fact that it calculates your STR/TEC break points for each weapon, including tunes, is a major boon for min/maxing bots.

I've been talking to myself about making something like this however lack of skill and motivation detoured me from the project.

I'm using Chrome 9.0.570.1 dev. The page is stuck in perpetual loading for me, too. The Javascript console is showing an error saying that "cosmicalc.ini" isn't loading properly.

Just download it and run it from your computer.

Though you probably can't download it if it's loading forever. I can upload to another host so people can download it, but since it's Koi's (or whoever owns it) I don't really have the permission to do that. =P

time to wait....

doesn't work with Safari on a Mac. Might try Firefox.

Then you're using wrong browser. Go get opera - it's simple and free.

Really, really. A lot of bots still have their JP names for their EN translations, and some bots are out-right missing.
