1000 things that video games thought us

The rules are simple. Post anywhere between one or more things that videogames have taught you, and post the name of the videogame that you've learned this fact of life from next to it. Because it's on a videogame, so technically you saw it on TV, so it just has to be true, right?

So, starting off...

1000 - mushrooms make you big (super mario)
999 - you can escape cops by repainting your car (gta)
998 - you cant see your legs (counter-strike and other fps games)
997 - kill something and makes you level up (all rpg games)

1 - When choosing a gun, choose the one that shoot through walls.
2 - The amount of time spent playing Guitar Hero would have been better used playing an actual guitar.
3 - Onions make good knights.
4 - You can never catch them all. They will just keep making more.
5 - Your cooking skills can never improve playing Cooking Mama.
6 - After you see the movie, 20 games of it will be available for purchase.

EDIT:

7 - Riding sharks = Legit.
8 - No matter which pokemon you pick, the professor will always give the better one to your rival.
9 - You can indeed do open-heart surgery with a pizza cutter and office staples.
10 - Always object. There will be contradictions.
11 - H-games can be turned into fighting games~
12 - Don't do mushrooms. It makes you think you're saving a princess from a giant turtle when you really are just in your living room.

996: One person can kill hundreds of people and never suffer any consequences
995: Demons are very friendly and are willing to work with you if you talk to them (shin megami tensei)

992: The most easily found save point is a church, people steal the crystal ones (rpgs)

988: When the screen says "Press X to (not die)", and you're playing on an Xbox360, you better f___ing press the button.
987: Apparently, it's possible to dodge bullets. Maybe even react on time to block one. Maybe if you're crazy awesome you can catch one with your bare hand.
986: If it lives, it can die. If it's Undead, it can fall to the ground. Even if you have to hack the game to do it.

991 As long as your above water you can survive a jump out of a plane - GTA

990 The pen is Mightier then the sword - scribblenauts

989 Equipment is never an object of weight - All RPGS

988 If it screams and your near it your fucked - Legend of Zelda

987 Traps hurt ALOT - RF Online

945 : Taking a piss is good for your health (some Duke Nukem game)
944 : Even chickens can be used as weapons if you stick some TNT up their butt (Redneck Rampage)
943 : The most fearsome boss... has ?? for HP and a fawking BLACK HP bar (Shining Force 2)
