Its time for a motherfucking Metroid thread

Been playing Zero Mission and Fusion, should I bother with the other non Prime/Other M games besides Super Metroid

Oh man, you're not the only Metroid Fan here. I love the Metroid series so much, and all of them are so awesome! My fav ones so far have to be Fusion, Prime 2 Echoes, and Prime 3 Corruption. I even have the OST's to most of the games.

My only Metroid game that I disliked was Other M. I did not like the controls to that one so much, and some of them didn't feel Metroid-like enough. Plus, Other M made Samus look like a Total Coward, and not the Badass Bounty Hunter in the Power Suit that we all have come to love.
Some examples of Samus being too cowardly and weak-looking in Other M, included how she just gave up to Adam at the near-beginning and only uses the Suit Powers he "authorizes," and the way she freaked out when she encounters the Ridley Clone, which is totally out of character and stupid, due to the way she acted in past cutscene encounters with the diabolical Space Dragon and wasn't so freaked out at those times.


Oh and one last thing.
Even Metroid can be made to be cutesy and moe' in a very good way. Read these comics and see how!
