Swedish CN never showed any anime shows... Wish was sad for me since I loved anime and was extremely fascinated by it at the time when I was just like 10 or something.

Infact, Swedish media doesn't show anime at all.
One channel tried it out but had horrible airing times which made one unable to see anime properly in Sweden. Well at least I got to watch .HACK, that was always something.

Then came Medabots on Fox Kids (That turned into Jetix that then turned into something else). For a young mecha loving boy that I was at the time, this was a godsend anime that actually had a generous amount of humor and action. Sadly it never went beyond the first season. (Or second? It ended with them destroying that huge ass robot that turned from a larva thing into a humanoid thing that went rampant in the city)

Good stuff, else it was standard, boring Cartoon Network. I swear I saw every single Johnny Bravo, Dexter, Real Monsters etc 10 times each.

Because I was a lazy kid that lived on the sofa playing Pokemon blue and red > yellow > silver on my gameboy color.

i also remember staying up late to watch Adult Swim even tho i had no idea what the comedy was about back then.

back the adult swim was mostly anime and the shit space ghost cost to cost yu yu hakasho first aired

I did it too, but I liked other shows (and paid more attention to them) like Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life and Kablam! (fuck yeah Action League).

Speaking of anime, we had a lot of it back in the day here.
