Weapon DPS for boss fightan

I'm sure some people are curious about what the best weapons are to be using for boss fights. When checking your party's weaponry over, here's the weapon hierarchy:

custom shotgun > omega blaster > delta vulcan > shotgun > sweeper shotgun > twin blaster > Eight Vulcan > particle gun > Big Mountaiz AM2 > Aquila BD > blaster > altair blaster

(Sorry, didn't write down exact DPS, so these are (mostly) approximations for now, unless I happen to remember an exact number for one.)

Custom Shotgun: 170s
Omega Blaster: Mid 150s
Delta Vulcan: 140
Shotgun: 125? Mid-lower 120s for sure.
Sweeper Shotgun: About 112
Twin Blaster: Upper 100
Eight Vulcan: 100
Particle Gun: 74
Big Mountaiz AM2: 73
Aquila BD: 70
Blaster: Somewhere in the 60s
Altair Blaster: 64

and for comparison to show just how bad the blaster is

Drum Machinegun: 60
Rage Machinegun: 56

only thing that ppl choose blaster is shoot through Haku 's wall bug spot it's range is better than shotgun

Altair blasters perform decently on berz thanks to their high fire rate in comparison to other blasters. Same goes for aquila's core weapon.

Butyeah, I've never seen anyone pick blasters vs Haku for that.

Suguri, what if the bot has 4 arms (asura amj)?
Does the DPS gets doubled, or will the DPS depend on the separation from each AM? For example, using 4 Ghost Raider AMs against using 4 L-sized AMs. (ignoring AM stats)

blasters are used for more range, which is especially useful at fractulus where shotguns can barely reach frac

Circle strafing Air with Custom Shotgun deals more damage though, especially if you use Propellers.

Seriously. It takes three blasters to match one custom shotgun, they're still doing it wrong unless you're using omega (which is particularly nice for the earlier parts of the frac fight).

Of course, x4 csg and x4 greinaut AM on Aquila BD with a support giving you burst fire is even better. B)

The DPS would be quadrupled. This is only for one weapon, and bosses don't have tgh.

wut? regular shotgun has more dps than sweepers? I dont get it

Sweeper may have more damage, but the regular shotguns shoot more bullets per second.

also need to take into account the spread those weapons do.
for instance, big mountaiz am2 will be much easier to hit for its max damage compared to, say, sweeper shotguns.

i beg to differ.
from what i saw, the damage for consecutive hits against bosses did infact decrease.
also, doing quads does not double the damage from using doubles.

They do have tgh
