CS did confirm rebalances and stuff but I'm wondering If there are differences that people noticed, just curious.
I mostly play(ed?) LND and specific SUP bots so I'm not sure, but when I played with HD Melfi her heal bubble had a lower heal rate, that and she didn't heal herself. I'm not sure If heal bubbles healed their creator in the original, but I certainly remember a higher heal rate. Maybe different bots have different properties on that.

Bazookas no longer applicable to land units, and mini bazooka for air
There's a lot of parts stat changes, and some even can't equip things anymore.
Some bots also got USB Drives as upgrades
Some got cart changes.
You can refer to a Cosmic Break wiki post for them. @_@
They weren't kiding when they said they wanted to make a lot of bots available.

Now u die in 1000 cuts instead of few beafy hits... And cb server rubber banding intensifies. But over all it feels good having no bullshit obliterating every one.
You also become invulnerable for a second if you take a hit so powerful.

I haven't downloaded the beta yet (no internet in my appartment), but I'm curious on weapon balances. I distinctly recall grenades being garbage due to their abysmal projectile speeds and rifles generally only being good after GrapidA tunes. Machine guns and vulcans mostly had super short ranges, and the shop shotguns and blasters did reduced damage at point blank range.
EDIT: It appears that all of the guns have been given good speed:range ratios, but the devs definitely went a bit crazy on the modifications. A cutter rocketing you forward 100-ish units feels like huge steps, but the reduced swing speed and drop from a 3-hit combo to 2 makes if feel a lot more like a sword than a knife. Also, they nerfed most of the cheaper beam guns' damages into the ground. How're they supposed to compete with swords and bazookas if the seem to hit pretty much as hard as handguns and handy mags?

Wasn't there a change to guard cartridges in old CB that made them stronger? Like the Beam Guard was buffed for Art types? That's not in.

@VietPho I saw someone on YT doing quite well with Albatreos. I'm pretty sure FLY-based alpha and melee builds will continue to do good, just like they did in old CB

I got to play for about 1.5 hours today. some advice for beta testers, you can use your gold star coins ( I think you get these when you roll the garapon x20 and use RT ? ) to get the 1000 EXP auto levelers so you dont have to grind so much in the arena. tune your moes from the gecko and have fun in arena.

Wonder if its just me who is having a slow button response. Like there need to be a small delay before next action we anticipate could be performed, I am not talking about Melee combos btw.
Like, I can't almost can't do Q weapon swap most of the time unlike before.

wonder if leg tunes are only missing for the beta since they'd cost a bunch of mats. i don't know how to feel about capa tunes missing, it would keep differences in power under control but idk feel like some extra flavor would be missing from not having higher investment builds of less popular bots. like two people both like malca(haven't tried her in beta yet) but for one of them she's their favorite.

Game is played on Japanese base. Meaning teleporter to ground area is in a different location and you need tickets like in old jp for quests.
Heal bubbles are 100 -> 60.
Broken slots are gone. You only lose mats if you fail a tune.
Slow tune was nerfed. It might have been some time after I played though.
Internal weapon boost carts are gone.
If any text is in Japanese it means it has been changed from the English release.
For example Kururu's Spike Shooter now scales off STR instead of TEC so it's real strong to bring her in with both a Shooter and a Saw.

I have noticed that AIR units are harder to stun and bring down, if you want to do that now a scram launcher or something is mandatory, air units are currently unstoppable and dominating.

You can't spam melee on a target as they will have stun and damage invulnerability after a couple of hits (due to Gold Veil activating).
And yes, Gold veil is a common feature now.
Ironic that this applies most only to melee damage not from ranged damage.

No, Winberyl's AMs drawgun stun also does it. It's the spin stun caused by a multi-melee-sub combo finisher or being stunned 8 times in a row that causes invincibility. I understand the logic behind why the devs did this, it's no fun to get killed from being stunned by a first hit and comboed to oblivion, then chased after the spin stun without an opportunity to get away.

I don't really know right now. Still feels like I'm doing jack shit cause I joined beta late and already have rooms with full tuned bots destroying everything albeit slower than what it used to be I think.
