A neat and somewhat cute-looking game I've heard about. Haven't played it yet, but it looks interesting.
A Hat In Time is about this young girl with strange powers who is known only as "The Hat Kid." She ventures out to find the Time Pieces, strange relics that can manipulate time, although another girl is also thinking of using them to become a time-warping hero, not knowing the dangers of messing with time. As she goes, she also encounters a number of other foes who wish to stop her, including a nefarious Mafia Group, a tribe of villagers infected by a plague, and even at one point she ends up selling her soul to a demon named Snatcher!
The game is kinda like Super Mario Galaxy crossed with Banjo-Kazooie. There is 4 different Hub Worlds where she has to complete quests and go through obstacles to recover the Time Pieces. And throughout, she uses Yarn to stitch new hats in order to grant herself new powers.
