I just went and gave it a piece of ham.. it was still there, huddling in the corner of the cat igloo that I built. It did that happy cat thing of chewing and purring at the same time.

I pet it some more.. (and thoroughly washed my hands, afterward,) I'm almost certain that it's been living in a dumpster. I've worked fast food.. I know that rancid smell. I think I need to give it a bath.. but not until it warms up, later in the week. It's going to be 26 degrees, Fahrenheit, tonight.

Right now I'm just calling it dumpster cat. I do like the name Dingbat, though..

Name it Rasputin

Holy shit, that's even better.

I thought about Siegfried, but that makes a better dog name.

(Next time I go outside and brave the cold to pet my kitties.. I've gotta pull its tail up and see if its even male.. I just assumed it was..)

Hell even the good things you do for cats is bad your just upping the stray animal population and making them forget to just hunt for themselves the ones that can't die. Call adoption center or some shit people like you fill the area with strays and endanger people with actual pets. Now I gotta make sure none of these damn stray cats give my dog rabies.

Previously, dumpster cat only came to me when I had food.

Today, dumpster cat came to me when I walked outside and said, "Hey, dumpster cat!"

It has a strange meow. It's pretty loud.. and even when it's totally dry, it looks wet and slimy. Its fur is so filthy. I'll have to get a few pieces of ham and lure it inside and bathe it, once it gets warmer.

Oh, and it has testicles. When I was petting it, it threw its tail up and revealed fuzzy balls. That's good news; I won't have to get it fixed because it can't have babies.

He has the largest nose I've ever seen on a cat. Rasputin seems to be part heeb.
