to access the expansion, you need to defeat kingyo
(for whoever that have already cleared it, due to a bug from fixing something, you need to go another round once more)
once done, enter the research again (2f)
and talk to the npc with a "!"

and he will send you to the fight

which you have to beat lord goblin ( enemy design contest winny entry)



pretty easy though



after that, you can talk to the same npc you've talked to for exp and c$ reward,
however he wont send you to another fight since the lord himself now sits there

you can also find him on b1f
talk to him and he send you to which seemed to be a 1 on 1 fight
(I don't know whether parties will be sent along or not)
however, ranged weapon wont do any damage to him at all, you have to use melee weaponry against him.

whenever you beat him, he will go up a level(max seems to be lv 69?)

also, the laboratory have the recipes to craft his parts

however to access that expansion
you need an item called "this note" 本手形 which is kinda complicated to get which i'll let you figure out why yourself.
and that item only lasts for 30 days from the very moment you got it.

once in, you are greeted by giant kangaroos, manta rays, hermit crabs(you already have encountered a lot of those by the time you gotten that note)

this time both red and blue, along with 3 sizes small, big and super big(field boss)
as usual, red are weak to electric, however, blue is more resistant to electric and is weak to flame weaponry, (of course the other animals are immune to all but the element they are weak to..)
and both are still capable to draining your en by hitting you with their bubbles and tackle attack.




and yes, both of them drop their own parts.
(bd1 for red and bd3 for blue, no bd2 unfortunately)


other than color difference theres defense difference compared to its red counterpart(literally swapped)
