Isn't this like extremely annoying? I'd probably get pissed off at it in less then 10 minutes. Especially if it is visible while gaming.

There's an option there that disables it being always on top. Also, like I said, you can set the size. Smallest size is 2/3 the size of a normal shimeji. And normal Shimejis are small.

You install regional japanese language settings using your non-legit Windows CD.

Or use Applocale.
