valentine's day is coming

singaporean friend wants me to skype call her this friday.

but i haven't been in the mood to really talk to people in general.
and she's been hounding me via texting, viber, and snapchat.
i'm nobody, i'm nothing, people shouldn't want to talk to me. sometimes i want alone time.
i don't know, mili, i guess it's not really romantic.

i did go to baskin robbins and had a double scoop of love potion no.31 by myself last saturday.

I didn't even know it's going to be Valentine's Day this Friday. Spoke to her to come grab some animu, just hang out and RETURN MY FUCKING SCHOOL RUMBLE MANGAS, only realized it was going to be Valentine's Day afterwards, doesn't seem like her bf is gonna do shit, so whatever.

I nearly picked up a pack of marshmellow from valentine's product bin, then I ran down the sweet isle to compare prices, turns out it's twice as expensive as normal stuff. Was like FUCK THAT SHIT and picked up normal marshmellows.

Fuck Valentine's Day.

Holidays are just government sponsored events to spur consumer spending. They're just herding sheep to do what they want them to.

If you truly love someone, you shouldn't wait for some holiday to communicate it.. and you shouldn't be guilt tripped into showing it by emptying your wallet.

My bf is coming from NYC this friday. Gonna spend a week in Rio with me.

I always remember Valentine's day. Sometimes i kinda envied the couples giving chocolates to each other in town, since i never had an actual relationship, but i can't blame anyone for my love luck - every single girl whom i had interest/crush in my hometown was already taken by someone else before i met her (every, single, living, soul). I'm kind and friendly as i can to everyone i meet, and any girl who would want such a person is free to take it.

A good thing that happens though is my parents' dating birthday, so they always do something nice for dinner at that time. Or leave us a larger fund than the normal for some free-to-order dinner.
