What is Vocaloidism?
Vocaloidism is a community website that is ran by a few members. It is a blog based format, or thats how it appears to me, and they post current news of vocaloids. News include: weekly VocaRan, weekly utau ranking, nendoroids being on sale, the latest appends for a certain vocaloid and much more!
What is a Vocaloid?
A Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application developed by companies such as the Yamaha Corporation and Crypton Future Media. This application allows people to create their own songs by typing their own lyrics and creating their own melody or use a melody that already exists. Users can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice. The software is intended for professional musicians as well as light computer music users and has so far sold on the idea that the only limits are the users' own skills
Who are the Vocaloids?
Crypton Future Media has released: Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len, Kaito, Meiko, as well as Megurine Luka. Internet Co. Ltd. has released: Kamui Gakupo, and Gumi. AH Software has released: SF-A2 Miki, Kaai Yuki, Hiyama Kiyoteru, and Nekomura Iroha. The Vocaloid Lily was worked on by multiple companies such as Yamaha and Internet Co. Ltd.

and btw the point of this thread was to spread knowledge about vocaloids not just what is their best song. I wish to spread vocaloids for those who do not know them as i found out about them due to this forum.

to add on, another way to find good Vocaloid music can be to watch the weekly VocaRan on the website i linked as well as the SP5 where they give rankings of Vocaloid songs each week with SP5 being yearly now. The song titles may be in a foreign language but you are able to go to youtube and type in the sm####### and the song will most likely be there.
Here are some youtube channels that upload the majority of Vocaloid music on youtube.
