I'm happy.

This isn't gonna be cohesive. Please forgive me.

I promised myself back when I hit the 2k gameplay hours mark that I'd quit once I reached 3k hours. Looks like I'm gonna be stuck at 28somethingsomething.



^I used to get that every now and then while updating my client. I'd spend around an hour or two trying to update, then just give up and tell myself to do it the next morning. And I do so without trouble sometimes. Sometimes I just get impatient and uninstall.

Now I'm looking at it and I feel like the hours I spent trying to get my client to update plus my gameplay hours might be enough to say I've spent 3k hours in cb (somewat. lol)


Well enough of that.

I have fun when I play in CB. It's challenging and always puts my butt on the edge of my computer chair. Clearly overpowered bots only made things more challenging and even then I was able to find fun in that. I'd get some overpowered stuff too (hi illumis) and I'd still be challenged by stronger weapons or better players.

CB community can be considered shit, but I like that shit. The variety of players in CB made me feel that every arena match I played was different to an extent. Some really good players, some cannon fodder. People who make a mess of chat and people you rarely see talking. Players who clearly hate the game and some whom I'd imagine to always be smiling behind their accounts. It's an enjoyable community and I felt at home, whether or not I was welcome at all.

I'm not really quitting because I'm bored of CB. I'd say I'm quitting just because of the 3k mark. I'm also afraid of the day when I'll find CB getting boring and bland (which it probably is already to many) and quit on bad terms. Might as well leave now before it's too late for me. Also, college (but I'll end up finding another game anyway ; _ ; ).

I don't regret the time I wasted on CB. In fact, it wasn't wasted time. I had fun. I wasn't just entertained, I was happy to play.

Thanks to everyone for keeping me company while I mindlessly went at it at my keyboard and mouse while being locked up in my room. I don't think I've ever, ever extensively talked with anyone in CB for them to consider me as their friend, but even then I consider a lot of people I played with as my friend, some of whom I've never even talked to.

I'll come back and play again sometime. Until then, thank you and goodbye.

We never really got to see each other or speak much outside of the occasional passing in both chatbox or in-game, but those were still good times. Indeed, I spent more time hearing such good things about you from everyone else than really getting to know you, haha.

Man, ever since our Black Cat days you've always been a role model to me. You were one of the people who basically taught me how to play CB. I'm glad you are leaving CB on good terms and I wish the best of luck to you in your other games. I hope you can become as happy as you have been playing CB wherever you go. Wow, you're going?  I don't know your reasoning behind your 3k hour limit, but it's really sad to see you go, I still remember when we spammed Pepens in Arena that one time!  I think you're a cool guy, always hate to see another good player leave. Have a great time wherever you go.
